Orchard Yard Officially Opens!

Orchard Yard, Wingham was officially opened on 15th July 2022, by Steve Craddock MBE – who represented Help for Heroes and gratefully accepted a donation for the charity, from Cambria, the developers of the estate.  Steve was joined by current and prospective residents, neighbours of Orchard Yard, members of the sales team and directors of both Cambria - and Cognatum, who manage the estate.

Following a tour of the estate and the stunning Show Apartment, Steve said  ‘I am delighted to have been invited to officially open Orchard Yard.  Working with Help for Heroes, along with my own experience as a veteran, I have learned the importance of having the right support to adjust to life’s changing circumstances.  Much like Help for Heroes for former members of the Armed Forces, I really think that this beautiful development will make a difference to older people, by enabling them to embrace a new chapter in their lives in retirement – and thrive.  I wish all residents the very best.’
